Project Development - From planning to finished project

Master Bathroom / Closet renovation
|
This was the existing condition - The
client wanted more and better closet
space. Her husband's clothing was
relegated to the small closet in the hall.
The dressing area between the bedroom
and the closet was an unused space.
The bathroom had cheap builder's grade
fixtures with inadequate storage and a
small shower. There were other
structural issues that also needed to be
addressed during the remodeling.
Different bathroom configurations were explored, as we tried to fulfill all of the components of the wishlist. The
homeowner ultimately decided that having a large shower and a tub outweighed having the second sink.
This was the plan we went with
Elevation drawings are prepared so we can see what the room will look like. They are an important part of the conceptual drawings and the construction documents. These 2 elevations (above) are part of the construction documents and have the tile details for the tile contractor, and the closet details for the carpenter.
|
Construction drawings were then prepared. These include: 1] Fully dimensioned plans, with notations about surfaces, electrical, furnishings, etc.,
2] Dimensioned and detailed elevation views, 3] Lighting plans and 4] other necessary drawings, including tile design diagrams.

The result is a beautiful bathroom and closet - finished on time and on budget.

Drawings help you know what rooms, furniture and window treatments will look like.
The nice thing is that the finished product looks just like the drawings, only better.
